Usage & Attribution
This page explains the public usage terms for instrumental beats, stems, and related audio files made available through Bart's official YouTube channel.
Unless a specific upload says otherwise, the instrumentals are made available at no upfront charge for creators who provide attribution and a working link back to an official Bart page.
Required Credit
When using a Bart instrumental, include a clear credit in the description, credits, liner notes, post caption, or other public listing connected to the work.
Use one of these formats:
- Beat by BART - https://www.youtube.com/@djbartnow
Allowed Uses
- Recording vocals over the instrumental.
- Using the instrumental or stems in demos, songs, videos, social posts, and performances.
- Sharing finished work online when the required credit and link are included.
- Editing, arranging, or mixing the stems as part of a new finished work.
Not Allowed
- Reselling the instrumental, beat pack, or stems as standalone audio.
- Uploading the beat or stems to another beat store, marketplace, sample library, or stock audio service.
- Claiming authorship or exclusive ownership of the original instrumental.
- Registering the instrumental itself with Content ID or any similar system in a way that blocks Bart or other permitted users.
- Using the instrumental in a way that suggests Bart endorses a product, campaign, person, or organization without written permission.
Rights Retained
Bart retains ownership of the original instrumental compositions, beat files, stems, artwork, names, and related materials unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Free public use with attribution does not create an exclusive license.
